Celtic play they their fourth (of eight – hopefully)
Champions League qualifier tonight in Trondheim, facing Rosenborg with a 3-1
advantage from last week.
Everything points to Celtic’s progression, but nobody is taking
anything for granted. Management, players and fans all know the job is only
half done, and no mistakes can be countenanced.
This is probably the team which will be entrusted with the
task:
Gordon;
Tierney, Ajer, Hendry, Gamboa;
Brown, Ntcham;
Forrest, McGregor, Sinclair;
Edouard
Subs: Bain, Lustig, Rogic, Christie, Allan, Kouassi,
Johnston
Brendan may be tempted to start Rogic in place of Sinclair
for an extra bit of defensive solidity – especially if he is planning to change
his away mindset a bit this season – but that would be something of a risk as the
Aussie powerhouse is not up to full match fitness yet. Not much in terms of experienced
attacking players in reserve, let’s hope they are not needed.
The game kicks 0ff at 19:45 cpt, and is on Premier Sports 2 (although
they have a friendly scheduled for 21:05 on the same channel) as well as eir
Sport 1 in Ireland and Eurosport in Scandinavia. Strange that it can be shown
in all these countries on these channels, but not on Celtic TV. Seems like a
raw deal for subscribers.
