Sparta Prague 0 Celtic 1

Celtic’s third match in Austria (fourth if you count the closed-door 2–1 win over BW Linz earlier today, goals from captain Sinclair and Johnston) and Moussa Dembele makes his first start following an extended break due to his involvement with France Under-21s earlier in the summer.

And he had an eventful first half, showing great power and strength to score, looked like he was pulled back in the box without getting the penalty and missed a couple of other good one-on-one chances. Still a bit of rust there.

He was withdrawn at the break leaving Edouard up front on his own and French Eddie did a pretty good impression of him.

Sparta were a very physical side, picking up a few bookings (yes, in a friendly) and threatened the Celtic goal on a couple of occasions but Celtic hung on for their second win of the day.
